7 is an interesting number, sure. But that is approximately how long one had to expect for the new album by the group "Viy", and it appeared that 7 was not that little... However, these musicians have never been known for haste in their creative journeys – because they have always preferred travels deep inside. This time as well – if one wishes, he/she can discern in the fresh songs by the group political pamphlets and just a poignant evaluation of our historical nowadays. And if one does not – it is quite possible to let it go, because their symbolism is obviously deeper than the waves of our routine. Well, and speaking about such songs as "Lullaby 33", here it is even not about symbolism – everything is simple, and honest, and frightening. At all events, this kind of pieces are able to change the internal focus, "the assemblage point" – and let them change. Because somehow lately we've started forgetting about that even the most complicated life always consists of simple things. And such pieces as "I Was Walking in the Sky" not only remind that. They can easily carry you into the dimension of magic realism – exactly the space where simplicity acquires the most interesting, unexpected outlines.
