Kobzar.
Ukrainian National radio is launching new publishing project called "The Sound Anthology of Ukrainian Culture". No wander, that the first CD is devoted to Taras Shevchenko, his poetry in the works of Ukrainian actors and performers of today and of the past. Fragments and full works of Shevchenko recorded in different times are recorded on this disc. Of course, the quality of the sound of rare recordings are poor, but the taste of time makes feelings of the listener stronger. A big booklet of 32 pages is included in the CD pack. It is a facsimile of the fragments of the first edition of Kobzar, printed in 1840. Great compact disc design makes this CD welcome present and adornment of any library of collection of compact discs.

National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, Telnyuk Sisters. Nash Shevchenko. /DVD/. (Our Shevchenko)

The concert film "Our Shevchenko" is not a kind of a formal tribute. It looks like the thunderous silence of an inner challenge in the search for truth. The severe, exacting truth, often inconvenient, incompatible with the comfortable habit of ignoring what destroys the calm, makes one realize one's own limits – and, perhaps, go beyond them.

Borys Hmyrya. Velykomu Kobzarevi. /premium, digi-pack/. (To the Great Kobzar)

The disk "To the Great Kobzar" is small in size but a valuable present for all the fans on the occasion of Taras Shevchenko's 200th anniversary. This is a special and wonderful recording. Special – because especially for this release archive records were restored, and it was done as diligently and well as it is currently possible...

Komu Vnyz. 4: Shevchenko. (EP). /digi-pack/.

..There is space both for an atmospheric ballad, and for the proprietary hard "art-bombardment", and a recitative prophecy/spell that makes you freeze – in other words, listen. A worthy succinct statement.
Domestic price: 502.60UAH, International price: $35.90USD

Borys Hmyrya. Great Kobzar in My Heart. (premium edition). /digi-pack/.

Basically, this CD is a second release of "For the Great Kobzar", copies of which have long been sold out – but. The first – and, perhaps, the most valuable – difference is that the new publication is a collection of restored records.
Domestic price: 250.60UAH, International price: $17.90USD
