These songs seem to lack quiet rustling. You know, the rustling which is heard when listening to a vinyl record. Still you can scarcely call it a drawback. In general, the matter concerns something different. Yuriy Rybchynskyi wrote the lyrics to these songs in the 80-th, and in them you may feel his maturing. When you have a chance, compare them with the songs of the disc “Wild-geese”. He was no more a young romantic then for whom all roads were open only because he had not passed most of them. Then questions had already appeared, peculiar not so much to a youth as to a young man. And real road seemed to start for him then, exactly in the 80-th. First real dilemma, first answers. But all this would have been sad and chilly if it had not contained so much of romantic appeal in it. Because what is the value of questions, the answers to which do not admit love?
