The new album by VV represents recording of the live performance that took place in spring 2006, within the powerful event organized by Oleg Skrypka – Rock-Sich festival. We should say that this event was already the second festival creation by Skrypka – and not the last one, for we should not forget about the very fresh Moloda Guardiya fest. It seems that Oleg's life as well, and the life of the group as a whole – are gradually passing into a new dimension, acquiring new properties. During the 20 years, VV have already turned into something more than a rock-group – a living symbol, right? But lately this symbol has been growing more global, deep, multi-layered. And the thing is not only that for an enormous audience in the world these people personify Ukrainian rock music as such. Let us remember how Skrypka merged Ukrainian folk songs with French chanson; or the very ethno-festival Kraina Mriy, which virtually immediately induced a number of interesting adepts to appear; or Skrypka's friendship with Bozhychi group, which at a certain moment inspired him to act as the producer of their album; or the folk-vechornytsi initiated in Kyiv, which now already independently travel through various cities; or, in the end, foundation of the publishing house "Kraina Mriy" – and, as we can see, this business is also living and progressing. To be brief, this is not only the space of music – this is a whole rich cultural dimension. Which, however, is still saturated with sincere music energy – and mightily saturates with it all those who hear. And have you heard already?
