The program that constitutes the new album by Igor Mamushev appeared quite spontaneously. It all started with a couple of pieces for the play "Marriage of Figaro" – and the audience liked the new approach so much that they started asking Igor for continuation. Actually, he did continue – that is how an entire program of not piano music, as it was before, but synthesizer one by Igor Mamushev appeared. Another instrument – other opportunities, other aesthetics, another vision. Not so different that one would not recognize the lyrical, clear, soft manner – but enough to make it possible to look at the old acquaintance with a fresh eye. However, it seems that the main aspect here is not the changes, because they are more related to the form than the substance. For – this is music of silence, the inner dialogue, music of careful observation of oneself in the world and the world in oneself. When a musician hears such silence in him/her – it is not that important whether he takes the piano, the electronic keyboard, or a chamber orchestra. In any case, it would be something light.
