It would seem that the album with such a title should contain only heroic songs. Nothing of the kind. You will hear songs about war at this disc, but they are all lyrical ones. In no circumstances I would deny that partisans were heroes. But still any hero is in the first place a human being. And all possible feelings which exist in life are peculiar to every human being. That’s why you can find everything here – sadness, love, despair and hope. In one word, life. Because no matter how long a war is, it hasn’t managed to win over life so far. That’s the very reason why these songs invigorate you, though they are sad. They remind you about the value of life as it is, and teach you to look at everyday squabbles calmly. I just wonder, who can win a calm person over or drive him from the right way? I think, nobody.
