It is a Temple, where a palpitating solemn ceremony takes place by the true and genuine art, merging hearts and souls of the people acting on the stage and those sitting in the auditorium; where great magic of music and dance brings all of us into the world of lofty matters, giving unmatched pleasure of harmony and spiritual enrichment. The project, offered to your attention, covers both the historical background and the present-day life of Taras Shevchenko National Opera House of Ukraine in the city of Kyiv. It contains luxuriously illustrated articles and references, as well as splendid selection of musical compositions that brightly represent creative traditions of the leading musical theatre of Ukraine. The articles have been prepared by the experts of Taras Shevchenko National Opera House of Ukraine. A considerable part of materials are published for the first time. The total duration of the musical compositions makes up more than 3 hours.
