Ridna maty moja... (My Dear Mother...)

What could we say here? The name speaks for itself. From this collection one expects light, lyrical songs, tender passions and grateful thoughts – and one, certainly, finds all that here. And it is not important that next to well-known names one can see here those that are not very familiar. The main thing is that all of them sing as sincerely as they are able to – well, and then it is up to the audience to decide whose sincerity appeals to it soul, and whose does not really touch even tips of its nails. For the theme, actually, is not that easy – it is quite possible to make a mistake here, to make it too sweet, etc. However, if both the mood and feelings are balanced correctly in the performance – a song about the mother just cannot leave anybody indifferent. The delimitation line is thin enough – therefore, these songs can be considered a very clear test for authenticity, for maturity of performers.
