Taking into account the name of this collection, it would be surprising if it did not contain patriotic moods. And it does contain them. The more so that it was issued in Lviv – and it, as is known, is the second capital of Ukraine. Not politically or administratively – but the real capital. It is from here that the major share of ideas connected with national consciousness and independence of Ukrainians comes into the country’s air. Thus, it is natural that performers of the overwhelming majority of the songs represented here are inhabitants of Lviv and Lviv region. So, everything is clear about the contents of the texts. And as for the musical accompaniment, everything is rather simple. Here, it is something average between variety music and entertainment music. And in this case it is right even for the reasons that thoughtful texts with sad music lead to grief, and those with light one – to the philosophical mood. The idea is controversial. But not groundless, is it?
