For the first time this album saw the light of the day as long ago as in 1997 – and it is even difficult to imagine how many people have been expecting for its second release. They had to expect for exactly 10 years – however, it was worth that. Pikkardijska Tertsia is that very rare case when a collective does not have in their discography a single weak, uninteresting album. And at that Tertsia practically has not exploited the usual methods to diversify the subjects. That is – they do not have a simple festive album (anniversary compiling, for example), no album of standards. Even
"Anthology. Volume 1" was recorded and released so that it is rather not a collection of hits, but a separate, independent work. All old songs were recorded anew, and in a bit updated arrangements. Thus, each disc by Tertsia is rather not an external topic, but internal moods, a separate space of feelings. Thin enough to have no desire to define them in simple terms. Merry, sad, teasing, philosophical, humorous, aloof, vitalizing – too generalizing definitions. Yes, in various proportions all of these are present – but in finer variations, tints. Actually, if we get back to the main theme of the discussion, the very name of the album – "Garden of Angelic Songs" – requires transparent, clear, light sounding.
