When: March 29, 2011

A unique opportunity for young musicians to perform at the stage of the legendary art-club. A unique opportunity for the Ukrainian audience - to support the new Ukrainian music!
March - the youngest and perhaps the most "fresh" month. That is why organizers of the Spring Jazz Night project in the art club "44" decided to dedicate all March to new generation of Ukrainian jazz. This format, New Generation, existed almost for two years, and during that time many young Ukrainian musicians take part in it. Geography of participants is quite impressive: Kiev, Odessa, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Krivoy Rog, Zaporozhye, Simferopol ... Also, this project involved the Ukrainians who are living abroad: Vadim Neselovsky and Andrey Prozorov.
The total number of musicians who participated in the New Generation already exceeded 100. And then we can say that the number does not exclude quality. Each of the concerts represent Ukrainian jazz of a really high quality and often quality-new music.
Saxophonist Gregory Parshin had already presented his program on the stage of art-club "44", in the autumn of 2010. One concert is not enough for Gregory. He created a new band, consisting of 9 people and new program "Mingus Project".
The presentation of this ambitious, according to jazz standards, project will occur on March 29 at 22:00 at the art-club "44" stage.
