It should be stressed that her art activity is extremely versatile: breathtaking play, participation in solo performances, dubbing of films and television performances, musical composition for bandura, programmes recording, pedagogical activities, etc.
Her repertoire, so diverse in terms of genre, is notable for its novelty and originality and deep emotional performance of Halyna Menkush catches on with the hearts of numerous listeners, people of different ages and nationalities: from Poland, Germany, Russia, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Canada, USA.
It is significant that Halyna Menkush was awarded a Diploma of Honor "To approve the prominent contribution to the 20th century progress", her name is included to the "Life of Prominent People" reference book and to the publications of the American Bibliographic Institute.
In the course of our country's independence Halyna Menkush was awarded the titles of Honored Artist of Ukraine (1995), National Artist of Ukraine (2002), and in 1997 Halyna Menkush was recommended for the National Prize of Ukraine named after T. Shevchenko.
