The debut performance of the group was held March 11, 2008 at the Center for Contemporary Art Kyiv-Mohyla akademii. Group combines musicians from different regions of Ukraine: Katya Gapochka of Khmelnytsky (vocals), Artem Ugodnikov from Kirovograd (drums), Yegor Gavrilenko from Cherkassy (bass) , Oleksandr Zbrotsky from Donetsk (guitar).
Soon "Hapochka" becomes a symbol of the festival in Ukraine. Thanks to the professional musicians sound for the first year of the group, occupy top positions at the festival "Taras Bulba 2008" and qualifying for the international festival "The Global Battle Of The Bands UA 2009". It is thanks to this victory, the group removed the first clip and the spring of 2010 she sent the final "The GBOB" in London. Ukrainian alternative pop-rock band "Gapochka" enters the top ten groups of twenty-countries.
Third Birthday Party celebrating in the new structure and new sound. The group joins keyboardist – Taras Fenik (Kyiv), and there is a replacement guitarist – now it's Eugene Yakshin (Cherkasy). Three-year test of style just approved a taste of musicians: "We play what we feel." Therefore, today, these feelings continue to discover and express themselves at the concerts of the group.
