Olga Shutko (Kryvtsova) was born in the South of Ukraine. She studied with N. Sonina at the Mayboroda Musical College in Zaporizhzhya and with E. Chervova at the Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music in Kyiv. After the winning of the National competition in Kherson in 1993 Olga Shutko has considered to be one of the most promising Ukrainian cello player. In 1999 she was invited to work as a Principle cello at the State Chamber Ensemble "Kyiv Soloists" where she works till now. In 2001 O. Shutko with "Kyiv Soloists" has received Grand Prix at the international competition in Vienna. In 1999 O. Shutko has got Special Prize at the international chamber music competition in Caltanisseta (Italy). In 2002 at the Lysenko international competition "Russian performing art" fund awarded her with a special prize for the best performing of Schostakovitch Sonata. Olga Shutko often performs with the orchestras as a soloist and gives recitals. She is a member of famous Ukrainian chamber ensemble U-trio. She has CD and TV and Radio recordings.
