AgiaDimitra choir was organized as recently as in the spring of 2016, but it already sounds as an experienced team and, importantly, one ready for a creative quest. You will hear that both in the author's material, in the nuances of melody arrangements, and in the nature of the solo parties – it feels, say, as youthful confidence of one's capacity. And in the case of this album, it seems, the very festive theme prompted them – there are also poems recited by children, and invited soloists, whose voices, intertwined with the sound of the male choir, create an additional space of beauty. At times one even forgets that the choir is, generally, a church one. Plus, the internal dynamics of these tunes are such that they can cause not only certain soft enchantment, but also the feeling of effective joy, elevation, that you want to share, not just keep to yourself. But the joy that you want to share – this is a holiday in its pure form, is not it?
