Try istoriji Halychyny. (DVD). (Three Stories of Galicia)
"The documentary "Three Stories of Halychyna" speaks about the fates of three people at the time of World War II and in the postwar period. Among them, Aharon Weiss, a Jew from Borislav, who during the German occupation was hid by his neighbors, Ukrainians and Poles. Subsequently, the Weiss family hid the son of their rescuer, who during the war worked at the occupant’s police. Equally dramatic is the life of Olha Ilkiv presented in the film – a Ukrainian anti-Communist underground activist and UPA messenger, who was brutally cracked down by Soviet authorities – she spent 14 years in the camps, and her children grew up in an orphanage. The third story is that of Polish Catholic priest from the suburbs of Przemyśl Stanisław Bartminski, who since the 1960s has been holding various activities for the Polish-Ukrainian reconciliation – because on the border relations between Poles and Ukrainians are particularly complicated after the fratricidal clashes of World War II."
