Kotra. Revolt. /eco-pack/.

Every new work by Dmytro Fedorenko aka Kotra is something interesting, non-trivial. But this time his new album, probably, will most of all entertain fans of the minimalist discrete noise – if this sort of a definition makes any sense at all. However, it does not describe all compositions on the album – there are rhythmic structures, and structured noises. In general, the very name of this work ("Revolt") envisages presence of some (internal?) opponent – and, thus, it would be logical to expect for an evolution of the voice concept during the album. Actually, I believe, this is exactly what takes place – but let every listener define for him / herself where this evolution arrives as a result. Individually for me, the album causes an association with the clinical death condition – when one seems to constantly step into the other world, but this step all the same appears not finite. And, thus, the indefinite condition and a great number of doors in the projection. And the five remixes produced by Dmytro's friends only intensify this feeling..
