It does not seem to be necessary to speak about the role of this singer in development of Ukrainian pop music, and even of Ukrainian alternative pop music. This role is huge, and this is evident. The considerable success of all Ukrainian language albums by Iryna Bilyk that had their second release recently - became another proof of that her significance can hardly be over-estimated. But the songs in Russian that she sings now also enjoy success - that's a fact. Thus, it is no surprise that the double album of the best songs includes all songs in the both languages. In fact, one of the discs is only in Russian, while the second one - only in Ukrainian. There are twice more of songs in Ukrainian, since Iryna Bilyk started singing in Russian relatively recently. Well, and as a result - we have a good collection creating a rather comprehensive, high quality impression about the singer's creative development from the very beginning till nowadays. And since the release consists of two discs and is offered at the price of one - an interesting situation arises. I.e., fans of the repertoire in Ukrainian receive a free disc with songs in Russian, while fans of the repertoire in Russian, the other way round - a free disc with songs in Ukrainian.
