This album, in fact, continues the series initiated by Hennadiy Melnyk back in 2008 – then he released two collections of field recordings at once: "Music of Carpathian Valleys" and "Wedding at Kosmach". So if you are interested in Carpathian folk music in its "pure", raw form – we highly recommend you to pay attention here. Moreover, Hennady is really able to see beauty in simple things, and therefore – to also demonstrate it to others. No decorations – pure music, as it is. The current album was recorded in Verkhovyna town, the performers are the amateur folk three-part ensemble "Hutsuls". Here it should be noted that the composition of the ensemble includes, in particular, Yuri Tafiychuk – and the family name of the Tafiychuks is well known to all fans of the Carpathian folk: they are skilled musicians, and they produce good music instruments... In short, it is played well, recorded at a high quality level – we definitely recommend it to all those who love authenticity.
