Leo Witoszynskyj, Ostap Shutko. Cantabile e ritmico.

Each of them is a real star at his place. Leo Witoszynskyj is one of the best classic guitarists of Austria. Ostap Shutko is one of the best classic violinists of Ukraine. However, these statements are true both for their countries and for the world of classic music in general – we have already discussed this before. Thus, to your attention is the second joint release by these musicians. Unlike the first disc, it is not a concerto but studio recording. Thus, there is no atmosphere created by a concert hall filled with audience – but instead there is the sounding that can be achieved only under conditions of concentrated studio work. And consequently – more subtleties, nuances of the performance technique, more attention to details. And, accordingly, fewer external moments. In the end, deep, beautiful music sounds here, therefore the possibility to concentrate exactly on music – does not seem superfluous at all. Although the performance mastery is such that, presumably, no extra noise would be able to really distract the listener from immersion into the melodious waves.
