Lviv chamber orchestra "Academia". La belle musique.

Lviv chamber orchestra "Academy" knows how to give deep, refined delight – whatever music they might represent. Even the pieces that are technically very complicated are performed by them with almost unearthly lightness – the only thing left to the listener each time is to plunge head deep in these waves, to dissolve in compassion. Well and this time swimming promises to be even easier and more pleasant. And the disc has accumulated valuables known all through the world – pieces by Gershwin, Brubeck, Piazzolla, Joplin... By the way, a third of the disc is made up by pieces by Myroslav Skoryk – and this, I am sure, will become a separate cause for delight. I would also emphasize that a part of the plays are represented by records from live concerts – and this, no doubt, adds special colors to the general atmosphere of the disc. In the end, when music acknowledged as a standard of beauty is performed with exemplary mastery, inspiration – what could I say here? It certainly should be heard. And one will again make sure that these melodies are immortal. And once again will be convinced that Lviv school of strings – deserves the greatest praise.
