Quiet Music for Silent Night.

The name of this collection, I think, is in itself a quite good announcement to its sounding. Here, it does not include free jazz, fusion, Latino – but I also would not call it cold jazz. Simply a soft, slow, meditative collection. However, no, not simply. At least because all Ukrainian musicians whom one can hear on it are the real pride of the Ukrainian jazz. As, for example, Alexey Kozlovsky is the pride of the Russian one (you will meet him here too). There are interpretations of folk melodies here, there are also world famous melodies. But the overwhelming majority are author's compositions. And these are, without exaggeration, silent pearls. As a rule, one track is too little to really feel the author. But in this case – no, and it once again confirms the musicians’ endowment. Each new play is a small trip to a separate world, and none of the trips is empty. Thus, no doubt – time spent listening to this collection will not be a waste for anybody. Actually, the music collected here is so soft, that it is even not necessary to be an amateur of jazz to estimate it as due.
