"Luiku" is a new – now solo – project by one of "Dazzle Dreams" participants, Dmytro Tsyperdyuk. However, at the first seconds it is more like their contemplative experiment, back then called "Dazzle Dreams Sound System". However, other colors and moods show up then. Luiku is rather ironic dance music with a very pronounced folk component, the accelerated Ukrainian gypsy romance supplemented with Turkish, Polish, Romanian, and Hungarian lines. The music, besides being catchy (although there are also a couple of relaxed pieces), is also very, so to speak, convex. After all, initially it was intended just as a soundtrack for a film – so, it is not surprising that almost each of the tunes dances not only in the ears, but also, literally, in front of your eyes. This is also supported by the generous brass parts and equally rich percussion lines. While with the simple, but far not empty lyrics – these songs produce a really good impression. There is the flavor of intelligent pranking – a not too common berry in our fields recently.

With this music – there are all the chances to swim to the summer almost unnoticeably, without straining where this is not needed. Ukrainian reggae with a mischievous smile and a hardened core. Just put on repeat – so much so that your hand reaches out for that – and you should not interfere with it.

..there is so much drive that one can hardly believe its "acousticity". And one of the causes of such sound is the truly rich set of instruments used by the musicians during the recording (guitar, banjo, harmonica, kazoo, ukulele, flute, kozobass, xylophone, etc.). Very rich and bright – just like always with "Ot Vinta"..

..the sound of Dzidzio, to some extent, can be seen as witty banter with reference to the early Skryabin – but, since it's music with a smile, do not look for the neoromantic haze here. Rather, it resembles ironic exercises by Braty Hadyukiny. And if you look a little bit closer, songs by Dzidzio resemble kolomyika...

This is stylish music, and not only due to the nice pastiches. Everything is just done simply – in the good sense, when the output sounds so easy and smiling that you never think about the previous hard work.

As far as we know – this is the first album in Ukraine (at least, among officially released ones) dedicated to bikers. Dedicated not only formally, but also thematically. However, the disc "Biker Sich" has been released just recently – but it was a collection of favorite songs, not the author's dedication album. A significant difference.

...the trademark self-irony is still there. To make sure – the first song from the album will be enough. Though, indeed, the rest of the songs also meet this sort of a definition: irony plus clownery. Need I say that both the first and second are not limited to smiles and jokes, subtle and not too subtle?

It is very cool that Antin Muharsky has not abandoned his field research of rural glamour in the Ukrainian context. Moreover – it seems that he has decided to undertake for this good cause a real family contract. But the main thing is that Muharsky has again succeeded in adding to the dozen of songs of the album a double portion of positive pepper..

Actually, once such songs were characteristic of only one country in the world – but since then the Earth has become considerably more rounded. Consequently, maybe, there is nothing strange in that we observe appearance of sheer Ukrainian songs in the country style. In the end, we have appropriate landscape...

...it is possible to interfuse banter with sorrow – and not to be too keen on how that will be perceived from the positions of commercial success. It is possible to laugh loudly at pop-hits, and then to suddenly play such heartfelt lyrical poetry that even words will not be really needed – and to only care that both the first and the second things were done sincerely.

Consequently, the crisis of the second album has pass successfully – and was it ever there? The first thing that strikes one's eye is the change of the general mood. The first disc was saturated with positive, smiling – but sadness. The second disc is quite a different thing. "You love brandy cola, and I love wine, and it means that we won't be together anyway"...

This is simultaneously the simplest and the most complicated format – there is nothing but the guitar and voice, and you either sound or you'd better not even start... "Acoustics" is the last real album by Vasyl Gontarsky, the fifth one. No others will follow. If everyone left behind so fair traces – the land would shine under our feet...

Strange as it may appear, but you’ll find a good deal of novelties on the disc – the songs that have never been released before. And personally I consider them to be just wonderful songs. Anyway, the famous works also warm the heart. This is like it often happens with cronies whose close relationship doesn’t depend on circumstances. All this makes not a compilation but an album of a full value with incredibly crystal, lyrical and high spirits.

The album is really queer, its style is "for one’s soul". To the question "for whose one?" we answer: a hippie’s one, whatever this word may mean. It is a man's dialogue with the air, when the woman has already left, but her image is still melting in the mirror. And you are in the middle of all that – what other explanations do you need? There is nothing. A hangover philosophical song.
