She appears on TV and radio not so often as, for example,
Povaliy or
Bilozir. And it’s a pity, because at her early twenties Iryna Shynkaruk is inferior to none of her more experienced colleagues. She can represent Ukrainian variety revealing its bright sides better than many singers. Among everything else, this is also related to her voice – so strong, so distinctive, and so different in different songs, the one that leaves no doubt as to her singer’s ability to charm the audience. Besides, from the very beginning, some people claimed that the songs she sings are too serious, meaning that this is not what showbiz needs. But audience’s love proves that Iryna Shynkaruk does everything right. Anyway, she tried herself in a lighter, almost dancing genre – it was also a successful attempt. Now, she’s back, she returns to the beginnings. i.e. Iryna’s new album is a collection of truly profound and sensible music. And you know, it’s great, when the light, according to the definition, genre (i.e. pop music) does not shun deep thoughts and search for the answers.
