Trojisti muzyky. Dzherelo Karpat.
As far as you can see, folk musicians is recorded at this disc. Sometimes they not only play their instruments, but also sing. And it is good, as they play their instruments well. Oh, no, it is not that I am going to say that they sing badly, quite the contrary – they sing well. By the way, their playing and singing are not like those, which are performed in concert halls. They are like those, which may be heard from village musicians – there is no academic sounding in them, and this fact also makes them interesting. Sometimes you may just get tired of any kind of singing. Sometimes you may get tired of words themselves. But for all that, if you have an opportunity simply to listen to music, it is very good. Still, I even like those moments when words disappear not only from your tongue, but also from your brains, and only silence remains. Sometimes it is all-sufficient, then you don’t need anything else. Neither sound, nor movement. And sometimes it seems to be waiting for something, and then nothing will fill it in better than music. You should only let it in.

...music recorded at the CD is really various, cheerful and alive. I would like to stress – alive. Forty one tracks – forty one groups from the whole country, and at that there’s no synthesizers here. It is, I’d rather say, a force...

Poor recording quality. Not great singing. Look for Popadiuk's Troisty Muziky for some real soul and talent.

All the soul of the ukrainian Carpathians is in this disc... The melodies are beautiful, the voices splendid... It is probably the most beautiful disc from this site !!

I have been seeking a record with Hutsul songs and melodies for a long time. When I finally found this disc, it soon appeared to be my favourite one with folk music. I can listen to it several times a day and every time I am moved with the tunes. It is very hard to explain why you enjoy one or another kind of music. I have been a great enthusiast of Hutsul culture and land for years. The Trjoisti muzyki play and sing just as I remember Hutsuls do. Naturally, touching, and at the same time professionally. I recommend this disc to everybody who likes original Hutsul and Carpathian music. My only critical remark is that the list of melodies printed at the cover does not agree with the oder in which the musicians actually play them.
