"As well as before, music of the native land remains the foundation of the band's creativity. But in the new work, there is significantly more rock heaviness in the sound, and the social, or even rebellious part has turned into a specific feature of the new album by Haydamaky. Perhaps, that is why we can say that "Stop Sleeping!" turns out a truly "haidamak" album! Haidamak music is sincere and independent Ukrainian rock music, without any flattery or flirting, the uncompromising patriotic rock without kitsch or pretension, without simulated positive or the desire to be good for all... The call to fight, in tune with our time, clearly runs through the entire album and is implied in its very title – "Stop Sleeping!"

Recording of the album was made in Warsaw, cooperative efforts were invested into the album by: Che Sudaka (Spain), Apollo 440 (Great Britain), Kamil Bednarek (Poland), throat singing master Albert Kuvezin (Russia), virtuoso violinist Vasyl Popadiuk (Canada), as well as Dr Nelle Karajlic (Serbia, ex-"No Smoking Orchestra"), Kasha Saltsova ("Kryhitka")...
