The Root Boys. On the Air.

These guys are familiar to you – in the same composition as here, but with a bit different name they not that long ago released the album "Dig That Roots!" But if that album was a sort of a tribute to the sources, a collection of time-tested, classic "hard hits", this one is built exceptionally on authors' material. However, the musicians do not betray their tastes, therefore associated intonations are guaranteed – although there is not a single song in the ordinary understanding on the album (that is, there are no vocals at all). But the music palette remained no less bright – this is, ultimately, already a brand name, programmatic cocktail: in the atmosphere of the middle of the last century, melodies with characteristic features of country, rockabilly, blue-grass styles are mixed, with some elements of jazz and rock. In order that such music were live, mobile – one should not just know it, but also love truly. And it is nice to hear literally at every step, in every sound of the album that "The Root Boys" both are great experts in their business, and they do love this strange, and sometimes eccentric romanticism of spaces a bit different from ours...
