Fans of the group Fleur know Olga Pulatova well – certainly. But that is why side projects are needed – to differ from the basic, routine flow. And one should mention that after release of the album "Olya & Monster" one really looked forward to hearing where the further search would take Olga – because at that moment she just staggered with sharp angles and the nervous depth. Because she seems to be afraid of no experiments. And she's right – and what can we lose but for our own experience? And it is necessary to mention here that the new creative exploration by Olga does not look too much like the previous one. One feels here presence of something surprisingly clear – surprisingly, because in Pulatova's texts, as usual, there is no trace of carelessness. As well as in the music pictures created by Verba – clear transparency in them is hidden under numerous stratifications of rhythms, backgrounds, noises, power lines... Possibly, this is about how the voice sounds? Mainly – with some quiet tension, as if it wants to break free of the earth gravity power. However, it seems that this can rather be not heard but felt. This is as though playing with one's own shadow – one has to run a lot before letting it go with a calm soul to all the four sides. And at this moment – you touch that very clearness...
By the way: simultaneously with Olga Pulatova, Elena Voynarovskaya has released her album – this is a debut disc of her side project Amurekimuri.
