This disc has become one of the latest ones that appear in our window in 2007. A sort of a code,
outro – and, you know, that is nice. Because "Kofein" is among those really bright novelties of 2007, it will not get lost in the flow of others, and that is why. It seems to me that there are all the time more ad more grounds to consider the Kyiv
studio Kofein together with all of its inhabitants and the majority of guests – the center of cultural partisanship in Ukrainian music. At least, one of the most interesting ones – and not only because it is exactly from here that the unordinary
Aby MC and
Shopping Hour originate. The main thing is that an alternatively positive, tolerant view of music as such is constantly retransmitted from here. Really delicious – it certainly comes into notice. Proofs? Take a disc with remixes on which among others there is a product of Kofein. Listen without preliminary peeping into the track-list – and then check. Among the mixes that you select as interesting ones, there will be a track by Kofein – almost necessarily. That is why I congratulate all those who have been expecting for release of this disc for as long as from 2006, when the "Guliaygorod" album appeared – it was then that the promise to complete and release a parallel version of this album arranged by Kofein could be first heard. The new variant, I think, is to unite those who liked "Guliaygorod" at once – and those to whom it then seemed a bit too hard. Because the engine remains as powerful as before, besides the specificity of aerodynamics are now taken into account in the outlines, they have become smoother and swifter, but inside there are now much more cozy nooks. Result – both the speed and comfort have grown. Well,
bon voyage!
