This compact, no doubt, differs a bit from those ones which we usually suggest to your attention, because it is not a Ukrainian music. But still you should agree that it is very pleasant to suggest a report on the contest, the first prize at which has been won by your compatriot, that is Ruslana. In any case, it is pleasant personally for me. The matter concerns not only the victory, you know. This recording looks like a cut of an old tree. It allows you to appraise and to compare. Personally I do not think that the best songs and the best performers are presented at "Eurovision", though sometimes there are some pleasant exceptions. Most probably, this is a more or less averaged level. Every person himself will make conclusions of the music heard, but all this is at least interesting, because it seems that today the world pop-music has gained certain fixed features and it is next to impossible to identify nationality. A pessimistic person will say that culture has become grey and unvaried. An optimistic person will say that culture speaks a universal language understandable for everybody. Both points of view are right, as well as 6 billion of others. Here the case in point is not answers, but questions, because this music is our reflection. Our pocket looking-glass. Look - who is there?

Eurovision is, probably, the most famous variety song competition in the world, this year more than 100 million people all over the world were following the course of events. Could anyone seriously rely on that the Finns with their hard rock song and disguised as monsters will win in Athens? But they won, at that – triumphantly...

I think that the studio version is better than the CD version... For example... Ireland'sIf my world stopped turning. I don't like the cd version of ireland but everything else is greate... i wish iam still in the philippines so i could play this CD really loud. not the STUDIO VERSION... BUT STILL EUROVISION IS BETTER THAN AMERICAN IDOL

Congratulations to Ruslana, who gave Eurovision everything she had. She really sold her act, so she deserved to win. But objectively speaking, Željko Joksimović had the best song by far. Most of the entries in 2004 were pure drivel and "Lane moje" really stands out as the only song I'd enjoy hearing again.
