About a year ago Oleg Skrypka had the idea of recording the national hymn of Ukraine and releasing it on a disc. At that the motivations were both patriotic ones and, predominantly, rock musicians' professional curiosity – how the hymn will sound in rock arrangement. Therefore, in fact, motivated by the most honest and best displays of their own selves, the guys undertook performance of the hymn of Ukraine. By the way, it should be noted that the need for updating the first line of the text has long already been soaring among Ukrainians, emphasizing above all positive and optimistic aspects of things. However, VV did not intend to undertake the absolute role of changing the habitual and legalized word, that is why they announced an all-Ukraine competition for the text of glorification among the Ukrainian people. It is probably easier to count the number of poems created by most prominent poets of the world than to specify the number of variations that people started sending to the mailbox of "Vopli Vidoplyasove" web site. And the guys, not to waste time, started the laborious work – compilation of the best lines, and whether they succeeded or not – it is up to the audience to judge, because a surprisingly beautiful folk text of the hymn has appeared. And, as a result, in order for that all persons interested could feel full involvement into such an important mission, Oleg Skrypka suggested releasing a karaoke disc, at that everybody can either listen VV's version of the original hymn of Ukraine, or learn the words to the end, or try recreating the melody, or create their own text, or just alleviate their civil dignity at singing the main song of Ukraine with the new, indisputably noteworthy folk text.

The musical base is accompanied by video consisting of selected best artistic works by Ukrainian artists: Pymonenko, Vasylchenko, Shevchenko, Repin and a lot of others, which adds to individual feelings deep pride of the cognitive identification status: "I am a Ukrainian!"
