This is not yet an album – however, an event all the same, sure. A deserved answer to all the skeptics who said that VV would no longer be able to compose a single strong piece. They've managed – and work over a few new pieces is in process now. Moreover, "Lado" is, presumably, truly one of the most beautiful songs in the whole history of VV.. If one dared drawing conclusions on the basis of only one song – it would be possible to say that VV is acquiring a new face. Quiet and confident knowledge looms here, which just physically cannot yet be there in youth, when emotions become the main driver of actions much more frequently than feelings. But calmness does not at all mean closed eyes and contemplation of colorful pictures on the internal side of eyelids. The light and lyrical but internally strong composition "Lado" sounds as if a result of the simple realization: it is impossible to change the world in a hustle. It means work. If you want to change it – you must contemplate and understand.
Besides, this release includes songs that VV do not plan to include into the next numbered albums – thus, fans have a chance to obtain several presents in one basket. "Fly, My Dear Sister" is a Ukrainian version of the ballad "Sail Away Sweet Sister" by the British group Queen; "March of Sichovi Striltsy" performed by Taras Kompanichenko can be heard on the collection "Ukrainian Heroic Song" – well, and here it is performed exclusively with resources of VV; "Alain Delon" is a lighted version of the song by the group "Nautilus Pompilius", thus Oleg Skrypka rewrote its text in French; "Dove" is a Ukrainian folk song, festival performance, one of the last records of Olexander Pipa in the structure of VV.
