It is even hard to believe that Pikkardiyska Tertsia released their first album 20 years ago... On the other hand, so much has been done during this period of time, and it was so interesting to observe that – and time, as you know, flies the faster the more you do, in any business. It seems that people age rather because of idleness – because then time does not fly but crawls leaving deep grooves behind. And the Pikkardiyska guys, by the way, have not really aged that much over these years somehow... Thus, there is something worth listening to – 11 albums, and the three first ones have not been released on discs, so for many they will be a true revelation. We think it will be a nice one – because Pikkardiyska Tertsia right from the beginning set its bar for quality really high. Plus – you can hear the Polish album here as well, which was almost completely sold out some time ago in Poland – a few dozen copies only could be found in Ukraine, and they also flew out very quickly. Happy to have this collection of beautiful a capella songs. The arrangements are so distinctive, rich and inspiring, and the musicianship is of the highest quality. I wish I had discovered this group sooner, but now that I have all their works, I can catch up!
