You see, we are having funny guests from neighbouring Belarus. These strikingly well-disposed gentlemen are already well-known both in Ukraine and Russia. May be, not because they perform punk, because they do not perform punk. Their music is the mixture of everything that gets into your hands and is reinforced by a powerful and skilful spiritual section. You can find practically everything here, starting with grunge and ending with raggy, and all that is fully stuffed with Byelorussian outlook and sense of humour – and that is why it is practically never boring to listen to "Lyapisy". Still, as for the Byelorussian outlook, probably I have made a mistake – it is something different. As any distorting mirror, which truly shows everything as it is in reality – that is why it often seems to be distorting. But I will not develop this idea, because for a listener "Lyapisy" present in the first place multicoloured pictures, which raise your spirits.
In Russian and Belorussian.

Luiku is rather ironic dance music with a very pronounced folk component, the accelerated Ukrainian gypsy romance supplemented with Turkish, Polish, Romanian, and Hungarian lines. The music, besides being catchy (although there are also a couple of relaxed pieces), is also very, so to speak, convex.

...this is about us. The ordinary people in the changing times, when it is both scary, and funny, and one wants to go faster, while – one needs to move carefully. Because nobody but us will live through these times for u... That's how it is put in the song "Play!": "Dad taught me – my dad, the last Jedi – play, play on your drymba, play the song of joy..."

...it is possible to interfuse banter with sorrow – and not to be too keen on how that will be perceived from the positions of commercial success. It is possible to laugh loudly at pop-hits, and then to suddenly play such heartfelt lyrical poetry that even words will not be really needed – and to only care that both the first and the second things were done sincerely.

Consequently, the crisis of the second album has pass successfully – and was it ever there? The first thing that strikes one's eye is the change of the general mood. The first disc was saturated with positive, smiling – but sadness. The second disc is quite a different thing. "You love brandy cola, and I love wine, and it means that we won't be together anyway"...

This is simultaneously the simplest and the most complicated format – there is nothing but the guitar and voice, and you either sound or you'd better not even start... "Acoustics" is the last real album by Vasyl Gontarsky, the fifth one. No others will follow. If everyone left behind so fair traces – the land would shine under our feet...

Strange as it may appear, but you’ll find a good deal of novelties on the disc – the songs that have never been released before. And personally I consider them to be just wonderful songs. Anyway, the famous works also warm the heart. This is like it often happens with cronies whose close relationship doesn’t depend on circumstances. All this makes not a compilation but an album of a full value with incredibly crystal, lyrical and high spirits.

The album is really queer, its style is "for one’s soul". To the question "for whose one?" we answer: a hippie’s one, whatever this word may mean. It is a man's dialogue with the air, when the woman has already left, but her image is still melting in the mirror. And you are in the middle of all that – what other explanations do you need? There is nothing. A hangover philosophical song.

Belarus bands famous here are specific in their artistic, nonlinear attitude to arrangements, self-irony and – they are somehow particularly enlightened, I guess. When one listens to them – sometimes it seems that they are singing the anthem of the Sun, facing the dark wall of the ancient forest. And Vuraj in this regard is no exception.

...the album at once creates elated, festive mood – but in a surprising way. In the correct way. Because, although about a half of the compositions can hardly be called merry ones – a smile is very expressly felt in them. Somewhere dim, somewhere transparent, somewhere dreamy, somewhere thoughtful – but it is present in each piece, and it warms.

"Red Cardell" wished to create an album open for the whole world. As a result, French chanson was mixed with African rhythms, Ukrainian authentic singing – with Oriental, Asian melodies, Celtic archaic – with elements of trip- and hip-hop. And all this together laughs, dances, gets a bit sad, makes love...
