This album can be considered an anniversary one – its release is timed to the 50th anniversary of Viktor Pavlik and the 30th anniversary of his life on stage. However, it all started spontaneously – with the idea of the group "Chumatsky Shlyah" to record a cover version of the song "Shikidim". And then a whole bunch of musicians joined that, including Rock-H, Motor'rolla, Pan Pupets, Sashko Polozhynsky with his solo project "Buv'ye" – and in this way a complete cover album of songs from the repertoire of 1992-2015 was formed. It turned out interesting – because the versions often sound quite unexpectedly, and because Pavlik personally contributed into the recording, so all together it is also an album of duets. And for Viktor Pavlik – it is also a kind of a return to rock aesthetics, which he seems to have long abandoned. But it is worth mentioning that in recent years Pavlik has been looking for new ways – so, there was the experience of jazz collaboration with Ihor Zakus, and the recent English-language album. He looks for – and he finds, which is nice.
