Presumably, there is no sense in denying that the name of Alla Kudlai is associated with the majority of listeners of this style with the song "Beautiful Unmarried Woman". But there is also no sense in denying that this thing alone would not be enough to stay one of the most popular performers on the Ukrainian scene for thirty years. Well, and the release of the mp3 collection is, maybe, the best illustration of the way passed by the singer during these years. The release of the first LP by Alla Kudlai took place in 1991 (although, unlike variety art songs, folk songs in her performance were released even before) – well, and the latest album, as of today, was released in 2007. Nine albums in 16 years – not bad at all. The more so that a couple of songs from every disc became hits in their time – and some of them are popular until now. Moreover, it should be noted that you will not be able to find the overwhelming majority of the albums represented here anywhere else, only here – because no second editions in the audio format took place. Thus, if you are not indifferent to the Ukrainian variety art and, in particular, to work by Alla Kudlai – we recommend you to by all means pay attention to this disc.
