A capella groups are nothing surprising now, there are a lot of them in Ukraine. But to count those who have made their way to be "central players" you don't need more than fingers of one hand. Tertsiya is one of them. And Tertsiya seems to be the only a capella ensemble of these best ones that from the very beginning until now have deliberately and consistently grounded their core repertoire on Ukrainian-language materials. During 2017, Tertsia will celebrate its 25th anniversary, and it is a collection of the best – on 2 disks at once, because there is really fairly a lot of the best. We have also heard here four songs that we failed to find in previous albums – three authors' ones (lyrics by Ivasyuk and Vovk), and a concert recording of the folk "Malanka". A significant bonus, isn't it?
