Denis Doncov Band and the "IoniSound" project.
ONLINE.FM presents the Summer Jazz Night project. Organized by: CAD concert agency and the art-club "44". Every summer Tuesday will be a jazz one, on the art-club "44" stage!
"IoniSound Project" is an author project of the young jazz guitar player Denis Doncov.
The band under this name performed for the first time in Spring, 2009 in the red hall of the R.M. Gliyer Institute of Music. In the summer, 2009, "IoniSound" atttended the festival dedicated to the memory of Vladimir Simonenko.
Interesting music and brilliant performance rose great applause, it was a success. The members of the band of that time were big-name musicians: Oleg Markov (drums), Ilya Alabuzhev (bass), Nataliya Lebedeva (grand piano), Denis Doncov (guitar), Konstantin Bloshkin (trombone), Viktor "Zedan" Pavelko (tenor saxophone), Anton Pivovarov (alto saxophone), Anna Doncova (vocal).
Today the members of the band have changed, but nevertheless the "IoniSound Project" is one of a kind. "IoniSound Project" is an octet that plays author music. The best Kiev musicians sound and interact in this project, playing the music written by the "IoniSound Project". Most of the music is written by Denis Doncov, nonetheless the author of the music is the entire band, because every musician brings their own unique style, which makes the sound of the music so special.
The general style of the "IoniSound Project" musicians describe as experimental Acoustic Fusion.
The "IoniSound Project" will show their next author experiment June, 8th, on the art-club "44" stage.
