It is a very diverse collection – both in terms of the performers, and in terms of the songs. From the "younger" generation – Dorn, O'Torvald, Erika, Antytila, Lavika, Prykhodko (by the way, it is a full Ukrainian-language version of the song "Mamo" (Mother)). From the more experienced ones – Boombox, Mukharsky, Skryabin, Druha Rika, plus the comeback by Numer 482 – we have not heard from them for a long time. Actually, the names already indicate at that there you can discover both pop music, rock, and what is in-between them. Even those who have not done this before – sing in Ukrainian here. Well, and in terms of the lyrics... It has happened so – hardly by chance – that love lyrics are mixed with social lyrics here. A bit of everything for everyone – even though now these two polarities seem to have got closer together than ever before...

Based on the title, the disc "New Sound of the Ethnic Ukraine" should comprise pieces by the performers whose creativity has a perceptible influence of the Ukrainian folklore – either in lyrics or in music. Basically, that is a sort of that.
