Kostyantyn Ivchuk's debut album leaves a quiet aftertaste of benevolent coolness. It sounds a bit distant, while some emotional bursts yes, they are here too seem to emphasize the leisurely flow of the mainstream, immersion into the shimmering depths, where time loses power imperceptibly, transforms into space. It is noteworthy that the album does not include short compositions (all of them last for 9 to 15 minutes), and this makes it possible for the musicians to build up and unfold in sounds a reality on the verge of being magical. While, in fact, the approximation becomes possible due to another characteristic feature the sounding warmth. It is its coupling with coolness of the flow that result in a sense of leisurely lightness, unburdened focus somewhere close to silence that can be turned to sound. It is like intentional rejection of sharp, abrupt movements for the sake of approaching more delicately and feeling deeper because in this case even the mentioned bursts will not tear the fabric, but will stitch it, as if rays of light on water. ...the silent poetry of the atmospheric, almost supernatural winds appeared against the background of clear, transparent rhythms and sometimes fluctuating, changeable bass and key lines. This music seems to pull into some mystic circle, however it also tears, transforms it with sporadic emotional splashes, does not let it calm down melancholically, provokes attention.
