Z Novym ROCKom! Jam FM. (Happy ROCK Year!)

Jam FM is the Kyiv radio wave on which exclusively rock music of Slavic bottling is broadcasted. Mainly Russian and Ukrainian, sure. This is, in fact, virtually the only FM station well known here having such specialization. That is why it is fully logical that it is these people who have ventured creating the Ukrainian "rating collection of the best non-pop music" – which is, actually, indicated on the cover to the disc. And, we should admit, the collection has appeared to be great – it is not just pleasant and interesting to listen to. It gives multiple occasions to be proud of that Ukrainian rock music, in spite of the frequently scornful attitude on the part of mass media, still not just lives on – but becomes more and more diversified, deep, strange, high-quality. This refers both to mainstream and more poignant, radical directions – it seems we are reaching already the critical mass when a real breakthrough of this music will become possible at all levels of the information space. If only it happened soon...
