Fragility is the first impression that arises at the beginning and is there already after the music subsides. And, of course, it is nice that this is singing of a person who lived not in Ukraine but in the U.S. and sang both in English and in Ukrainian. She sings the songs that we have long known and loved. But the main thing here is still something else – namely, how these songs are sung and played. And it is done really skillfully, and in such way that one immediately feels – every song has been cherished, pampered as if a beloved child, for which one does not begrudge either the heart or the effort. Everything here is harmonious – the voice so gentle and clear, and the cautious, and thus very appropriate interventions of the orchestra, and even use of the instruments not traditional for such songs. And if you want to show someone the beauty of the Ukrainian song, or how this beauty can be preserved far beyond the Ukrainian land – I think that this CD will be a good example. Это лучший диск который я слышал за последние 10 лет. Я не украинец и украинского языка не знаю, но эти песни это что-то необычайное.Слушаю уже третий день подряд. Не могу оторваться. Жаль что такая Певица ушла из жизни так рано. Всего два диска. Так мало и Так много. Спасибо Квитка!. Спасибо Украина за эти песни!

Пісні Квітки Цісик давно подобаються. Нарешті змогли придбати ці пісні. Слухаємо всію сім"єю, а найменші засинають під них як під колискову.
Слухаючи ці пісні ще більше закохуєшся в рідну Україну...
Нажаль нема розповіді про саму співачку на (в) диску. Чи є ще записи псень Квітки крім цих двох альбомів?

Я вважаю, що жаль, що таку Людину, як Квітка, не було включено до Сотні Великих Українців, бо як на мене, саме такі персоналії й створюють Душу Нації, Душу Культури !...
Жаль, що вона вже не з нами... Але ії пісні - ТАК, вважаю, що вони назавжди ввійдуть в скарбницю української-європейської-світової Культури !!!

Фантастична співачка, дуже талановита і цікава. Дуже шкода, що її вже немає з нами, але я впевнена, що її пісні будуть слухати ще наші діти і внуки. Цікаве аранжування її творів і надзвичайне виконання. Я захоплена її творчістю!

I bought this CD over a decade ago from a Ukranian bookstore/general store in Toronto because they were often playing it when I used the Canada Post government office within their store. One day I asked the lady clerk for the name of the singer and she told me that the CD was available at the other side of the store. I bought it and I loved it, even though I was in my late 20s then and clubbing every weekend to really hard house music. I would play it when friends came to my apartment, and it always had an effect on them. When my sister died in 2003, I gave my Kvitka CD to my Mom because her voice and songs are really uplifting. Oh, how I missed owning that CD afterwards. I did often look for it in the World Music section of stores, but had no success. Now I'm happy that I could find it and that I own it once again and the inspirational quality that I once enjoyed, returned. I appreciate your great service, and your prices are amazing. When we want to buy a CD in Canada, the prices (approx. equal to USD) start at $15 and if imported could go up to $40. To get it for $14.45 from halfway around the world, a week after the order is and excellent deal.
