"This CD is the sixth in the series "The Tradition of Ukrainian Church Singing". It contains unique chants of Divine Liturgy, collected from Ukrainian song sources from the 17-19 centuries – notated Irmologia.
The central Divine service of the Church – Divine Liturgy – is performed in singing. It is an integral part of experience of theis mystery of the Church's entry into God's life. We invite you to listen to this CD hoping that melodies of traditional Church chants, newly developed and adapted to Ukrainian, will help you to experience the sacrament of the Liturgy more deeply and will fascinate you with the richness of traditional church music."
