Men's Choir "Nadija Tserkvy". Liturhichnyy rik. (Liturgy Year)

This is already not the first disc by the male choir Nadiya Tserkvy that appears on our shelves – and it is nice that that is just like this. If you are already acquainted with sounding of this choir, you will agree that this is that rare beauty that one should not pass by. And the thing is not only that the choir performs – certainly – spiritual music, not any other type of it. It seems to me that these voices are quite able to fill music they perform with spirituality regardless of what style it belongs to – at least, if only they preserve the manner characteristic of the choir. Because, in the end, behind the great beauty there stands no less great internal force, which it is easy to feel. It is such internal force that is able to not just fill – it is able to transform everything that it touches. It may be a person, these may be ordinary things - and this may be music... However, it is hardly possible that we will ever know how ordinary secular music would sound performed by Nadiya Tserkvy – in the end, the choir consists of priests, and this kind of experiments have very few chances for realization. And let it be. The beauty that these people have already brought with their singing into the world – it is quite sufficient to feel sincere gratitude to them. So, let it be so.
