Recording of the show on the Maydan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square) in Kyiv. This disc shows all Ukrainian: folk songs, orthodox prayers, dances. A lot of leading Ukrainian musicians took part in this recording. "Kyiv" chamber choir, "Dzvony" group, "ManSound", "Lybid" trio, Nina Matvienko, Tajisiya Povaliy, Ani Lorak. State Anthem Of Ukraine is also recorded on this CD. This is the second edition. Some new tracks were added.

...here, one can hear remarkable, very beautiful Ukrainian romances – this is, however surprising, quite a rare genre. Still, the contents of the album does not go down to romances only – for, as we already mentioned, the ensemble feels easy in various genres.

Common sense seems to prompt that we should expect for a skeptical attitude to this kind of experiments. Thank God for grandparents, parents and for being born into the Ukrainian culture. You can lose your country but not your spirit or the music.These songs and hyms will always be cherished.

Nice but not good for a cd. Cd or recording quality lacking. Clicking and background noise takes away from the cd.
