Dmitry Krasnoukhov. Na krylakh khvyli. (On the Wave's Wings)

Presentation of the new album by Dmitry Krasnoukhov took place in Kyiv at the end of October – honestly speaking, in good time to some extent. Because on cold autumn days, this warm, sunny greeting from summer is especially appropriate – it warms up indeed... Why from summer? Because music of the album was created in summer, under the bright sky of seashore – it is possible to tell that even based on the titles of the compositions (half of which, by the way, even are improvisations). This time, Dmitry does not prefer any specific paint – he transparently combines sounding of the piano and electronic keys. Therefore, music of the album lives somewhere between neo-classicism and ambient – while light folklore motives pop up sometimes as well. On the whole, it seems to me, "On the Wave's Wings" is music of the peaceful world. The world where people can and are not afraid to love. Where for communication they do not need words, because they speak not to each other, but – to the world. And the world not only inside a human being, but in anything living – from a wave to a stone, from a green sprout to a sunbeam. Diseases disappear in the course of such communication, as if one never had them – and kids grow up, and everything around flourishes and bears fruit..
