Do you like rock'n'roll? Then, what about the rock'n'roll served with a delicate sauce and piquant spices? From the morning till night and again, till early morning? As an alternative to a rendezvous with a girl friend (a boy friend)? As a supplement to a rendezvous? As its main content? As a means of perception of a surrounding reality with a smile? Sorry, what did you say? The ground for getting up in the morning energetically, notwithstanding a hangover? The ground for tasting four portion of hitchhiking, or some more of it? To dance on the stone paving barefooted? To catch May rain and big snowflake with your tongue? So that not only drive, but also the thoughts should be colourful? So that the smiles could appear not because of strong drinks but because of satisfaction? In the underground, at work, in a car, in a coffin, in the bushes, under the water and in the skies? So, do you really like rock'n'roll? If not to create, then at least to listen to? Sorry, what did you say? To serve it to you right into the bed? Anton Yozhyk Leyba (Hedgehog) Note! This album is also released as a vinyl LP.

Luiku is rather ironic dance music with a very pronounced folk component, the accelerated Ukrainian gypsy romance supplemented with Turkish, Polish, Romanian, and Hungarian lines. The music, besides being catchy (although there are also a couple of relaxed pieces), is also very, so to speak, convex.

...this is about us. The ordinary people in the changing times, when it is both scary, and funny, and one wants to go faster, while – one needs to move carefully. Because nobody but us will live through these times for u... That's how it is put in the song "Play!": "Dad taught me – my dad, the last Jedi – play, play on your drymba, play the song of joy..."

...it is possible to interfuse banter with sorrow – and not to be too keen on how that will be perceived from the positions of commercial success. It is possible to laugh loudly at pop-hits, and then to suddenly play such heartfelt lyrical poetry that even words will not be really needed – and to only care that both the first and the second things were done sincerely.

Consequently, the crisis of the second album has pass successfully – and was it ever there? The first thing that strikes one's eye is the change of the general mood. The first disc was saturated with positive, smiling – but sadness. The second disc is quite a different thing. "You love brandy cola, and I love wine, and it means that we won't be together anyway"...

This is simultaneously the simplest and the most complicated format – there is nothing but the guitar and voice, and you either sound or you'd better not even start... "Acoustics" is the last real album by Vasyl Gontarsky, the fifth one. No others will follow. If everyone left behind so fair traces – the land would shine under our feet...

Strange as it may appear, but you’ll find a good deal of novelties on the disc – the songs that have never been released before. And personally I consider them to be just wonderful songs. Anyway, the famous works also warm the heart. This is like it often happens with cronies whose close relationship doesn’t depend on circumstances. All this makes not a compilation but an album of a full value with incredibly crystal, lyrical and high spirits.

Their music is the mixture of everything that gets into your hands and is reinforced by a powerful and skilful spiritual section. You can find practically everything here, starting with grunge and ending with raggy, and all that is fully stuffed with Byelorussian outlook and sense of humour...

The album is really queer, its style is "for one’s soul". To the question "for whose one?" we answer: a hippie’s one, whatever this word may mean. It is a man's dialogue with the air, when the woman has already left, but her image is still melting in the mirror. And you are in the middle of all that – what other explanations do you need? There is nothing. A hangover philosophical song.

A truly wonderful beat. You can hear the classic Ukrainian rhythms shine through the modern-like sounds of Vasya Club. I even like their rendition of "Hey Joe" better then Jimi Hendrix!
