One of central images of Onuka's first album was the city. The second album begins with "Vsesvit" (The Universe), and this very word can be the key here. Right, a different scale. "Mosaics" is like a spacious home with a thousand (okay, here – a dozen) windows, behind each of them there being a new landscape, its own story. Life, memory, love, war, loneliness in the crowd, friendship – and what goes without words. A bright house where all these different stories converge, overlap, complement each other. Actually, Onuka does define her style as electro-folk, and this is, again, an intersection – of the traditions (feat. NAOFI) and the modern via an attempt to pronounce old signs in the modern language. A search for the universal in the transient. Attention to the simple things that underlie our world – and the inclination for laconic definitions, on the verge of slogans: "We have a voice, we are not speechless," "Life passes, life goes on," "I can do the minimum, I believe in the maximum," "People shoot people, guns do not shoot people," etc. This album is a certain summary on Onuka's path, but it sounds like the beginning, like opening of all doors-and-windows, an invitation to infinity of the flight.
