It is not a secret that this album was intended as the Ukrainian language version of the previous one - "Smile". Thus, you will, probably, recognize the majority of the melodies. The texts are a different thing. On the one hand, it is the fact that Ukrainian, according to experts, is as it is more juicy and melodic than 90 percents of languages in the world. And on the other, the creative approach resulted in that English texts in the new variant have acquired not only more expressiveness, but also additional richness of content. For this, my separate gratitude not only to Ani Lorak, but also to, for example, Mariana Savka (I personally consider her, by the way, one of the best representatives of modern Ukrainian poetry). However, bare words on paper usually do not suffice for showbiz. But today Ani Lorak is already such powerful, professional singer that these new songs in her performance have just violent emotional content. A child cannot sing so – only a young woman who blossoms gently and passionately. Well, and I think that there is also no need to tell again about how versatile and interesting this album is in the aspect of style – it is nice that we already have qualitative pop music.

..the debut album by KAZKA is finally officially released on physical media. The release is of high quality, it's nice to keep it in your hands – well, and the fact that the album as such is worth paying attention to is obvious: in 2017, the project was one of the brightest debutants of the Ukrainian pop scene, and when the album was presented, it was already listened to far beyond Ukraine.

The new album – despite its light sounding – turns out not even colorful, but rich, thought over not just superficially – thus, quite diverse. This applies to the singing, the manner – this also applies to the arrangements. Tayanna, obviously, places the quality bar high.

Rulada is the stage name of Iryna Tsukanova, a teacher of singing, founder of her own school of singing based on the author's method. Being aware of this, sure, one expects the debut album to be a vivid demonstration. And Rulada really masterfully controls her voice, she easily combines various emotional colors and techniques even within one song..

Anyway, the album turns out really atmospheric – it seems to invite to recall the past, but at the same time goes slightly beyond time limits. Because Lucyna's songs are about stories that occur at all times – where there are two people and something between them..

You now see already the fourth album released with the name of Rosava on the cover – and it is again absolutely different from all previous ones. However, there is still something in common: this is again – cool. Beautiful.. If all Ukrainian pop-music stuck to such level – the word "muzak" would, probably, quickly disappear from our language..

After the album "Oma" Iryna Bilyk had all grounds for the "star dizziness" – and one could hardly reproach her for it seriously. She unquestionably proved that Ukrainian pop-music both must and could be rich in content, diverse, high-quality, bright, modern – real...

Briefly, it is possible to say that the new album by Maria Burmaka is an example of the high-quality and, if you wish, intelligent modern Ukrainian pop-music as it might be. Nothing to say, it is good when not only an album has its own face, but – every song in it.

Frankly speaking – we have long not heard absolutely new names in the domain of the lyrically intellectual song. Such what would be not quite rock, and far not pop. New albums – yes, but new people – for approximately a few months already, if not years, we have not had novices here. Well, meet – Tanya Gosudareva, it seems, has the mission of correcting this historic injustice.

...it seems as if the songs were recorded not by one group, but they worked with each single song separately. May be, it was not so easy to do that – taking into account the fact that in general this is a dancing music. And the result, that is, the album itself, is light and free from any extra burden...

The album consists of a dozen of lyrical songs, a dozen of different but light moods. For even during separation the mood may – and, I think, should – remain light. If you accept it easily – it goes easy. The river should flow, shouldn't it?

Well, we have an opportunity to congratulate ourselves – and in particular old fans of Natalia Mogylevs'ka. The external interval in her work has appeared rather long, but it was worth waiting for. She has arranged for herself a really bright, powerful returning.

Àíi is back singing in Ukrainian! Wow, terrific she had the heart to re-record some of the tracks of her Smile album with new lyrics. Generally speaking I have to say that I like her better singing in her native tongue because I feel that her voice has more colors this way, but maybe it's just imagination or my own personal taste. However, I think that even "Don't Talk About Love" works better in Ukrainian (consequently now called "Íå êàæè ïðî ëþáîâ") while "Smile" is clearly made for English, and sounds a bit awkward with the new lyrics. We also find the two bonus tracks of the previous album hereon, "×åêàþ" and "Ðàññêàæè...", an alternate lyric version of "×åêàþ" (now called "Ìîé Àíãåë" - who needs that?), one fabulous new track "Òèðèé (Tirij)", and two remixes ("Àâòî" and "Ðàññêàæè..."). Those remixes take her songs into the discotheque department, and the way they were made is just great. On top of that, as on her last three long-players, we get two video clips. And look at the art work! Isn't she drop dead pretty? Wow...
The sound production is flawless like her previous efforts, but is this really a full new album? It's certainly something like an "archival release" but since that category is not yet available here it's correctly listed as a standard album. A good effort and hopefully we will soon see a completely new CD with all-new tracks on it.

Don't buy this CD if you have a girlfriend. I don't know what to say. Yes, the tracks at the end are average. Her voice is wonderful, and she is a bit lazy. The video (one) is provocation. There is a hole in my heart now. I know I should not watch her videos, but I can not resist.

I doubt that Ani will ever take a place on the world stage but that doesn't matter at all. I can't understand a word but that doesn't matter either. This CD rocks, powerful vocals and bright, catchy tunes. It doesn't get any better than this.
