In 2014, Okean Elzy is massively celebrating its 20th anniversary – to be honest, it is even hard to believe that this music has been with us for so long. On the other hand – it still seems sometimes that it has always been with us... Anyway, it is absolutely logical that on this occasion the band has released a collection of the best – and they have collected as much of two discs of that (though, sure, that could be even more – because none of their album was deprived of the audience’s favor). And it does not cover Vakarchuk’s solo works – while there is also enough good stuff. But nevertheless. If you do not wish to store their full discography but you want to have a really comprehensive, rich picture of OE’s achievements, this release will be a perfect illustration. Moreover, these are just over two hours of good music – and that also, after all, matters.
